The
Orlando JUG is a non-profit, vendor-independent organization. The
primary goals for this group will be to provide Java-related information
to its members, to facilitate contacts between its members, and to
promote the use of Java technology in the Orlando Area. Through the
generosity of corporate and individual sponsors, membership is free!

Meeting Announcement
This months meeting has been scheduled for Thursday, September 27. It
will be held at Siemens Technical Training Center in Lake Mary. Our
featured Speaker will be Richard Gronback from TogetherSoft. This
presentation will revisit the J2EE with a look at the Java Pet Store. Richard
will be covering the Design Goals, Application Partitioning, and Pattern
Usage of this J2EE demonstration application. He will also demonstrate
features of the TogetherSoft products that include: LiveSource
UML-Based Development, Patterns (GoF, J2EE, PetStore), J2EE Diagrams,
Deployment Capabilities, Documentation, Audits & Metrics

Coming from Orlando, take I-4 to Lake Mary exit 50 (Lake Mary
Boulevard). Go right on Lake Mary Blvd to the next traffic light, Lake Emma
Road. Turn right on Lake Emma, continue through three traffic lights to the
Siemens sign on the right. Turn right on Technology Park, and the
Training Center is on the right. The meeting room is located at the back of
this building.
